I know its long overdue but here are some pics from camping at Cuyamaca last month! The trip was a weekend trip with friends. The weather did not good but we never care what the weather does- the least predictable the better!! It was forecasted to rain all weekend but didn’t see one drop. We did see snow though! Heaton Flats was the campsite that turned me into the camper I am. I went in November 2011. The weather was freezing! I knew nothing about camping! But I fell in love with the tall trees, the stream filled with gold prospectors, and the hike to get to the spot. Continue reading
