New Year. New You.

Well hello there! Happy New Year to you! I wanted to think long and hard about my intentions I set for myself in 2017 so let me start off by saying this… I have a job. I can provide for myself. I have food in my cupboards. I am healthy. I have a roof over my head. I have someone to snuggle up with at night. What more can I ask for to make my life complete? What can I possibly improve in 2017? Well this year I am focusing me- being the best version of me possible. To make decisions that better my life and others around me in a positive way. Rather than making my yearly commitment to drop 20 lbs, not eat sweets past 8pm, pay off my credit cards and not bite my nails, I am going to make resolutions that I am truly excited to make and stick to. Let’s face it- there environment is harmed everyday and its our job to protect it! Here are 5 ways I try to help out the environment:

  1. Go camping! When you camp, you are outdoors- use flashlights and campfires for light and (hopefully) using water pumps for your drinking/ cooking water. By doing this, you will conserve what you would be using at home! And it lowers your electricity/ water bill!
