I recently stopped into a very cute surf boutique in San Diego called South Coast Wahines. Their window display was what drew me in- a perfect display of camping! As I walked on the beautiful hardwood floors, I peeked around at what looked like my dream closet. Everything I post about in my camping fashion was there- Billabong, Quiksilver Girls, Roxy, O’Neill, Element Eden, RVCA, and so much more! I instanly fell in love! My friend, Allison, who is also a blogger (a blog about wine! ), helped model my finds! Continue reading

My friend, Becky, went camping recently to Plaskett Creek- a campground in central California that is part of the Los Padres National Forest. She has a great time and took some awesome pictures I wanted to share.

I am definitely NOT a morning person, especially camping, and the only way to get me going is coffee! I’ve tried instant coffee but, frankly, its disgusting!!! My brother, a barista (or baristo?), showed us how to make the PERFECT cup of coffee! Continue reading

We had never been to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park until this weekend. I can say we are definitely coming back! It was beautiful!! Our campsite was at the top of a hill so we had an amazing view of the valley. There are several trails to go hiking but due to a recent knee surgery, it seemed I was extremely limited! However, I am always up for a challenge and accompanied my friends on an unintended hike where we Continue reading

This weekend is going to be a fun one! My friends and I are heading into the mountains in east San Diego. I’ve never been to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park but I’ve heard its beautiful- especially when trying to catch a meteor shower like tonight! However, the only draw back is when I was watching my FOX 5 News this morning and Chrissy Russo told me the mountain areas were going to be cold with a slight chance of Continue reading

I was really skeptical… and still am… but when I glanced by this product at REI I didn’t know what it was! A cup.. for a Diva? Like one you drink out of? Not quite!!! So if you haven’t heard of this, like me, it is an alternative to feminine hygiene products such as tampons and pads. It is supposed to be cleaner than other products. If any guys read this I don’t want to gross them out so just hit the “like” Continue reading
