I am soooo excited because I finally get to go camping!! Tomorrow we are doing a quick trip to the San Gabriel Mountains in Angeles National Forest to do a little gold searchin’ and have some fun! I haven’t been camping in a very looonng time so this is very exciting for me! Here are my outfits I’m bringing (because all of you are soo curious 🙂 )! See how excited I am?! The Clothes I Bring…

It’s supposed to be warming up this weekend from the 30 degree weather but I love being prepared so here is what kind of clothes I bring with me while camping:
Billabong snowboarding jacket, O’Neill long sleeve ditsy print thermal, A&F scarf, Classic Tall UGGs, Patagonia R1 pullover, tall Roxy socks, and Element jeans. Some other clothes I am bringing are Quiksilver Girls hoody, Stance tall boot socks, and LA Gear Shape Up shoes for hiking. Leaving now and setting up camp in the dark! I will post pics on Sunday! I recently stopped into a very cute surf boutique in San Diego called South Coast Wahines. Their window display was what drew me in- a perfect display of camping! As I walked on the beautiful hardwood floors, I peeked around at what looked like my dream closet. I wasn’t sure where to fit this “Beauty Prep” in so here it is- just a few tips on prepping for your camping trip!

1.) I always take a shower before I go. You are gone for at least a day or two- and in the dirt! Trust me- you will be happy you washed you hair, shaved your legs, and did everything it is you do in the shower!

2.) I know this is anti-camping code but this is a GirlyCamping.com… I always curl my hair before I go. Now I don’t bring my curling iron with me!! I just curl it before I leave on my trip! I curl my hair everyday because its fine and makes it look thicker! When my hair is curled and I sleep on it, it tends to look fuller and more of a “ready” look in the morning. Continue reading →
