This past weekend we hiked at Stonewall Peak in east San Diego. There was lots of snow on the ground and I’ve never hiked in the snow. I was walking through the snow and when I stepped down, my ankle scrapped along a rock. I know it doesn’t look like much but it hurt! Continue reading

This weekend we did an impromptu camping trip to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park at Paso Picacho. San Diego’s mountains were hit with a good amount of snow last week so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity! Unfortunately, we under-estimated how much snow might be there! It’s 5,000 feet elevation so you can only imagine! We got there around 8:30 PM and the grounds were covered- if we drove my little Huyndai, we wouldn’t have been able to get into the spots because snow was piled so high!
