A new fire is underway in San Diego County- the Shockey fire. Yesterday around 12:15 PM, Shockey fire broke out on the Shockey Truck Trail and Highway 94 on the Campo Indian Reservation. 30 structures- mostly homes- have been destroyed and many others are threatened. 2,000 acres have been lost and the fire is 10% contained. Power lines were knocked over causing 134 San Diego Gas and Electric  customers to lose power. Evacuations are in progress for the following areas: Tierra del Sol, Jewel Valley and Boulevard areas.
