I have a funny story, somewhat related to this.
A few years back, when we were still tent campers, we took my daughter and her boyfriend at the time with us on a trip. We were somewhat inexperienced in Stat Park camping, and had accidentally put our tents on the wrong site.
After a day out and about, we came back to find DNR in the process of emptying, our tent and creating a detailed inventory of our belongings. There, on a picnic table, was my daughter’s boyfriend’s duffel bag with the contents pulled out and counted. The contents were very obviously boy’s apparrel, and there, at the top of the pile, were two tampons.
DNR had a bit of a smirk on their face when he noticed the contents with some embarrassment. His quick thinking answer was to tell DNR that he gets horrible nose bleeds, and that is all that works. When he told me that I about split my sides laughing. The real answer was tha the shared his duffel bag with his sister, who hadn’t completely emptied her contents from the last time she used it.

As a father of 5 daughters, I can tell you that we always had something tucked away somewhere, either in someones bag or in the car, just in case! And more than once, I’ve been using one of our duffel bags for something else and looking in a pocket, I see things I never use! Just part of taking care of my girls.
