Gregory Saga 55
Here is the Gregory Saga 55 backpack. I love this backpack because of the large pockets, limited zippers for restricted space, and the adjustable straps to make this a custom-fit backpack!
Does anyone have a great backpack they love?!
Dont need a backpack, but my wife wants the pants (American terminology intended, not British)

I would say “I want some”, but I fear I’d be arrested. Will leave them to your good self to model.

No it doesn’t. There is a clip that goes over it and connects to the top part of the backpack to secure the pouch down.

I have an Osprey Tempest 30 that I love. It basically has all the same features and layout as your Gregory 55 (just smaller of course). I like Gregory as well, I just prefer where the water bladder goes in the Osprey. Not sure how your Gregory works but on the ones I looked at, the bladder went in the main compartment (the large drawstring compartment) so it took room away. Osprey has a special area on the back of the pack that is made just to store the water bladder, so it is out of sight and not in the way. Both brands are very good though, and can be customized to fit individuals. I would recommend either. Thank you for your video review!

Hey Mandie. You have a great blog. Some pretty interesting articles. When I have a minute. I will go back and look st some and comment on others. Also, thanks for liking my blog. I just started it a couple months ago, but I really have not a clue yet to get people to let alone see the blog or finish the end of my story. As for backpacks…I am obsessed with them. I have a decent amount (around 7), but my favorite camping pack is the Gregory Savant 58. It was my first pack not using the big bulky hip belt and I love that. Feels like a much better fit. I also have never used a rain cover, but it has one of those too. I used to just put a thicker plastic bag inside the pack (if I was hiking and camping in an area that has a high probability of rainfall). The Savant is a top loader, not too much jazz, but really carries the weight well really well. I did a 3 day hike with it in an area an hour away from Conifer, CO and it was great. No real aches or pains. It has a compartment on the side where you can stash a couple high energy bars and are easily accessible so you do not have to take off your pack just to grab a snack. Good for folks that don’t like to break stride. Cheers.
