My boyfriend and I just got back from a one-nighter at Heaton Flats in the San Gabriel mountains. We got up there around 10:30 PM and hiked in about 1/2 a mile to Heaton Flats, set up our camp site, and got our drinking on (wine and tall cans of beer 🙂 ). The next day we panned for gold, took some pictures, and headed back home. It was the perfect little trip to escape for one day 🙂
