We just recently purchased this weather radio from REI. THe Eton Scorpion Weather Radio is AMAZING on so many levels! First off, we get NO service where we go and this found a few good stations that came in clear. We were happy to get a range of music that came in- country, hip hop, oldies, rock- it was perfect! It is solar powered and has a hand crank if it runs out of power. Need to charge your cell phone? Plug it in using a USB cord and charge it up! Is it too dark outside? OH yeah, it also has an LED flashlight. AND last but not least, it has a bottle opener for the final touch! For $50, it will be the best investment you’ve made in a radio!
