This past New Years Eve, the local weather channels were warning San Diego County with a storm watch. The snow levels dropped below 1,500 feet elevation. Communities that never see snow woke up with a white surprise. Temecula, Fallbrook, and Murrieta all saw a white New Years!
We headed up to Cuyamaca to test out our snowboarding skills- they had been hiding in the closet over 7 years!
That’s great! The closest thing to snowboarding here in tropical Philippines is sandboarding in Ilocos. Wish we could visit snowy countries so we can try snowboarding. 🙂

I’m back in Wisconsin, but my son lives in Temecula and sent a bunch of pictures he took of his back yard in Temecula. They had a blast and the dog didn’t know what to think. Normally, they have to drive to Idylwild to play in the snow.
