The Narrows. Awww… sweet sound to my ears! I’ve been working my way to this hiking/camping spot for the past two years! My boyfriend and brother told me it was a hard hike- 5 miles in the heat with hard inclines, climbing over rocks and scaling cliffs. This past weekend- it was my time! I knew my body was ready to take on this challenge and let me tell you- I did great! The hike was gnarly! Super hot in the day and I thought it would never end! But once you got there all you can see is high leafy trees, a musical stream, and big horn sheep that surround the area- I didn’t want to leave..
Sounds like a great trip – I have many places I have been ‘working’ at getting to. Sooner or later lol.

Very cool. I’ve never been lucky enough so far to spy more than one Big Horn sheep in all my times in the Parks. One major disadvantage to car camping I suppose but I’ve never built up the courage to try backcountry. “GirlyCamping” is so toingue-in-cheek. And this would be located where?

I love how you’re always going on adventures and still manage to post about them all! I’m jealous– its already rainy and autumn-like in Montana, and our season is wrapping up. Lucky girly! Have fun out there and be safe.
