haha! It’s called a sluice. You use it while panning for gold. You dig up dirt and put it in the bucket, pour the bucket of dirt into the sluice while its emerged in water and a current is flowing, it separate fine dirt (and gold) from the rocks, then you pan the dirt from the sluice 🙂
