My story involves two little people named Ellie and Luke, they have been camping since they were months old. While most of the time spent outdoors is them playing and exploring the rest of the time is spent learning the ropes of camping. They spend endless time following their Dad and I around asking questions and wanting to help. Last summer we spent four days at Blacklake and they both had crying fits when it was time to come home. We then took a two day drive to Panorama, BC in the fall and again they loved their time outside so much they didn’t want to come home. Are we raising little trekkers? I sure hope so. My Husband and I believe the more time spent outside with nature the more they will respect the planet and all it’s inhabitants.
Thanks for sharing Julie!! Wishing you and your little trekkers lots of camping trips to come!
You’re right. The outdoors is the best place to learn about nature.
