I was reeaally worried about the bears when I was planning my trip. I did a bunch of bear safety research, only to discover that Yosemite bears are black bears–not man-eating grizzlies. As long as you follow the rules for food storage, you’ll be good. Side note: I didn’t see a single bear the whole week I was in the park. I was totally dissapointed. 🙂

I would be disappointed too!! But I guess I can’t say that until I see a bear during a trip! 🙂
