While hiking out to the Narrows behind Los Angeles, we encountered a big horn sheep! Have you ever had a close encounter?

I was cycling in the Canadian Rockies, and had to stop while a mama and her little one clattered down an embankment and darted across the road right in front of me. Lots of scrambling by ALL of us!

How cool that you were able to get that video. It’s been years, but one on trip we would watch the mountain goats from the other side of the river. Nature is so cool!

No bighorn sheep here but we run into whitetail deer more often than not. Walked up within about 20 yards of a doe this past Saturday…

Saw big horn sheep in Colorado National Monument when we were there last spring. I was maybe 20 feet from one.

Great video! I often see bighorn sheep when hiking in Waterton Canyon about 15 minutes from my house here in Colorado.
