This past weekend, my cousin and I ventured up to LA and took on Runyon Canyon Park! I have lived in Southern Calfornia my entire life and had never seen the Hollywood sign (I know, how lame) but now I can say I have! It was a good 3 mile loop with views of downtown LA, gorgeous Hollywood Hills homes, and the beautiful ocean. There was another trail that was pretty steep and added probably about 2 more miles to our hike. It doesn’t seem like a lot but my muscles are still sore!

Shame on me, I’ve never been either… Hmm, might have to get to that at some point. Will have to keep it in mind for the next weekend I have free. Thanks for the reminder that something like that is in “the neighborhood.”

Of course! Its a good hike and there are several different trails so you can go exploring a little bit. It gets busy on the weekends so I would try to go during the week 🙂

Thanks for the warning/advice. Not sure I could get there before the sun went down during the week at the moment – so, it will have to wait until spring and summer. Pesky work always getting in the way of things.
